My name is Patrick Wacks, and today I received devastating news.

My close friend, Jody Myers, was in a horrific accident this week while on the job. Jody is a hardworking father of three and runs his family’s pool water delivery business. During what should have been a routine delivery, his truck flipped and rolled three times. The vehicle was mangled, and Jody was trapped inside, needing to be pulled out with the Jaws of Life.

What makes this even harder is that Jody doesn’t have health insurance, and he’s facing a long and painful recovery — far from home, unable to work, and separated from his wife and three children. As a small business owner, every missed day means lost income his family depends on.
