My name is Jody, and I am facing the most difficult chapter of my life. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in both my brain and lungs. The cancer in my left lung is 8.5cm, and there are three spots in my brain. Over the past two years, I have endured countless doctor visits, tests, and treatments, but it wasn’t until September that doctors finally discovered what was wrong. Since then, I have undergone 45 rounds of radiation and 5 rounds of chemotherapy. Despite all efforts, my latest scans have shown there is no chance for recovery. The pain has become overwhelming, and I am now on morphine to manage it. My lungs are sticking together, making every breath painful. I have spent everything I had trying to get answers and pay for treatments, selling or sending away all my belongings just to get by. Now, I am unable to do anything but sit at home and worry about how I will cover my final expenses. I am seeking help with cremation and burial costs, as I am getting sicker each day and do not have the means to pay for these necessities. The thought of not being able to take care of these final arrangements is a heavy burden to carry. I would be deeply grateful for any help. Your support would mean the world to me and help lift a huge weight from my shoulders. Thank you for considering helping me in my time of need. Your kindness and generosity would bring me peace during this incredibly difficult time.
