Hi, my name is Larry Fuller……Meet my friend, Jody Tomas, who fell & broke his right hip, June 3rd. He had operation the next day. Jody is 73 & faces a long recovery on Disability(government housing) because of severe back issues, Jody still volunteers at multiple food banks, in his area, and was delivering food to a friend, when he fell. I met Jody 8 years ago, Jody volunteered to drive my elderly Father around, the last year of his life and Jody wouldn’t take a nickel. Jody is a devout Christian, in every sense of the word. The Orthopedic has told Jody, it will take a year to heal & because of his lower back issues, walking will be an issue so support is needed to get Jody around to rehab appointments, paying bills, grocery shopping, etc……there is also a major vehicle repair & vehicle ins…… and he still thinks he can volunteer at his Church’s(The Torch), food bank. This guy will find a way to serve, even while infirmed. Help make his life easier, thanks! *here’s an update, on Jody……he has had remarkable progress and is staying independent…..Jody has fluid build-ups & is Stage 3 kidney disease, but is active, still volunteering at The Torch’s food bank……his faith stays strong……his main need is a reliable vehicle……..the vehicle he has, 2005 Ford Five Hundred needs a motor………so this next fund raising push is going for another, more reliable vehicle…….he drives within a 50 mile radius of his home, in Cornelia…..Jody just turned 74, on Feb. 17th…….please help……thanks!
