Support Jody Landry's Battle with Cancer

My name is Jody Landry. I'm currently on chemotherapy for the 2nd time in 6 years. I don't like asking for help,Im down right uncomfortable asking for charity. However after my first round of chemotherapy in 2018 I was in need of major dental work. The medication to fight the cancer had destroyed my teeth. The cost of having several extractions, root canals, bridges, and caps to all my top teeth with the exception of two, cost was $2,500. I couldn't afford to have my remaining healthy teeth capped. Boy was that a mistake. I've been back on chemo for a month. Already one of the remaining top teeth broke. In the last month a bottom row crown has broken along with several cracks in various teeth. In 2019 my dentist in Mexico quoted me $6,000 to fix and cap the rest of my mouth. Things have changed since. I'm probably going to have more extractions then root canals since I waited so long. Cancer has taken away my ability to do any of my former activities. Like hiking, exploring the desert,four wheeling, gardening, visiting friends at the beach and family in the Northwest. The fearing someone will see my teeth if I smile is purely vain (is what it is lol). Cancer is an expensive disease. My doctor is an 80 mile drive, 160 round trip. Then there's replacing clothes that are to big, having special dietary needs all costs money. I don't expect to hit the dollar amount set but anything would help me cover the extra costs. Please don't feel obligated to help because your my friend or relative.

I love my friends and family regardless. I'm sure there are people besides me needing a miracle while we fight the Big Bad C word. I think of the other Cancer Fighters often and wish I could help them all. Peace and love to everyone ❤️
