Hi my name is Ian Courtney. This is a fundraiser for Jody Huellmantel who has recently gotten cancer. Among her many acolytes in the Detroit film community, she has been a longtime projectionist at the Detroit Film Theater, was an employee at Thomas Video, and did camera technician work at Stratton Camera. If u have ever seen a movie at the DFT, rented a movie from Thomas or a camera from Stratton, Jody may have most likely been one of the cogs that helped it get into your eyeballs, brain, and heart; she is a true soldier of cinema.
