I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to share an update regarding my mother, Jodi, who recently underwent her second knee surgery. During her recovery at home on Monday, she experienced unexpected shortness of breath while simply resting. Later that day, she had a scheduled physical therapy appointment, during which her therapist made the decision to take her to urgent care. There, medical professionals diagnosed her with a Saddle pulmonary embolism, indicating the presence of blood clots in every quadrant of her lungs, which are exerting pressure on her heart.

Consequently, she was transferred by ambulance to the Minneapolis Heart Institute, where she spent two nights undergoing a series of tests, including CT scans and ultrasounds. My father took time off work to be by her side during this critical period, and I am deeply grateful that she is receiving excellent care.

This unforeseen turn of events has resulted in mounting medical bills, as well as challenges related to missed work and the recovery process. In light of this, I wish to alleviate some of the financial burden for my parents during this difficult time. If you are in a position to contribute, it would be greatly appreciated; however, if not, I completely understand. Your thoughts and prayers for her smooth recovery would mean a great deal to us.
