Hello, my name is Cindi and I am Jodi’s sister.

Last Wednesday, our world changed forever. My sister, Jodi, suffered a massive heart attack without warning. She’s only 54 years old—far too young for something like this—and she’s been in the hospital ever since, fighting for her life.

Jodi is the most caring, selfless person I know. She’s a devoted mother to four wonderful children, a loving daughter, and a proud grandmother to eight amazing, beautiful grandchildren. She has always put others first—whether it’s helping a friend in need, cheering on her family, or making sure everyone feels welcome and loved. She lights up every room she walks into with her smile and her laughter.

What makes this even harder is that Jodi has no health insurance. The hospital bills are already overwhelming, and we know there will be more as she continues her recovery. And with Christmas right around the corner, this should be a time of joy and family togetherness—but instead, we’re facing uncertainty and fear. We just want her to focus on healing—not on how we’ll pay for the care that’s keeping her alive.
