Hello, I am Danielle, Jodi’s daughter.
Just shy of 3 years ago, we lost my dad, Rich Brown, to COVID. A devastating journey without him would be an understatement. Earlier this year in March, my beautiful mother, Jodi, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent her first round of chemo, only to have her lump grow bigger, leading to the discovery of a more dominant form of breast cancer. This resulted in another round of chemo, but first, she needed surgery. In August, they removed her tumor, two lymph nodes, and part of her muscle. She has recently completed her second round of chemo and will be starting radiation this week. However, it has been disclosed she will also need to do another 9 months of chemotherapy. My mother’s diagnosis went from “you will be back to “normal” in a year” to many probable outcomes with no definite answer. She would never ask for help. Many of you are probably just finding out she has cancer. I am making this account on her behalf to help with medical bills, daily expenses (as she lives on her own), and anything needed throughout her recovery! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
