Support for Jodi After Unexpected Job Loss

I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Jodi Gowans, who received some difficult news this morning that the company she had been working at for over fifteen years was downsizing and would have to let her go. One can only imagine the difficulties that come with such an unexpected life change, especially the financial burden that accompanies the loss of income that Jodi and her family relied on.

Many of you know Jodi. She is incredibly independent and strong-willed. She has always been the first one to help others, and the last one to call attention to herself or her own needs. While I have absolutely no doubt she will overcome this adversity and move forward, I also know that each of us needs help at times, especially when life throws curveballs none of us could have anticipated. I would love to show her an outpouring of love and support in this difficult time. She is preparing for her daughters wedding, which can be stressful enough, and losing a job right before the holiday season can add unimaginable stress.
