Jodi Sanchez, our Willow School 7th grade science teacher of 16 years, is now recovering from a stroke in addition to her ongoing neck surgery recovery.

She is currently in the ICU recovering from

a brain bleed. She will have to pay for the ambulance ride in addition to other bills associated with this new hospital stay. She has been on medical leave since last April

receiving only a portion of her teacher’s salary.

This summer she had major neck surgery on (ACDF-anterior cervical discectomy fusion). She had 5 levels fused C2-T1 as well as bone spurs shaved, used for fusion and on top of all that, she suffers from osteoarthritis and spondylolisthesis (vertebrae bone slipping into spinal cord).
