Dear Friends, Family, and Cherished Community,

Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart. Our dear brother and community rock, Jodeci Cherry, is currently in the hospital fighting for his life. During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for your love, support, and prayers for a man who has always given so much of himself to others.

For over 27 years, Jodeci has poured his heart and soul into the barbering profession, working at World A Cuts Barber Shop. Through his craft, he didn’t just cut hair — he built friendships, mentored young men, uplifted spirits, and became a cornerstone of our community. Jodeci is the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back without a second thought. A devoted father, grandfather, friend, and mentor, he has always put others before himself.

Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.

I have set up this GoFundMe to help cover the enormous expenses he and his family are facing, including, Hospital and medical expenses, and rehabilitation therapy. And any additional costs that arise from his recovery journey. Sadly, Jodeci does not have any insurance, making the financial burden even heavier for his family. 100% of every donation will go directly to helping Jodeci, maintaining his household, and providing support for his beloved son and grandchildren, those who depend on his strength and love each day.
