Hello, my name is Jocelyn.

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart, praying and hoping for support in any way possible. My husband was in a car accident on April 29, 2025, while coming home from work. He was hit by another driver who also struck a second vehicle. Although the officer on the scene clearly stated that the accident was her fault, she began yelling and falsely claimed that my husband threw something at her.

Despite my husband not engaging or retaliating, both were arrested. The most heartbreaking part is that my husband is not from here—he is now being detained by immigration.

He is not a bad person. He is the victim in this situation.

I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do it alone. I need help raising funds for a lawyer and for his bond. The costs are overwhelming, especially with everything going on in the world. Even if I give up our only vehicle, I still won’t have enough to cover our bills and secure his release.
