My name is Jocelyne, many people know my story and I am putting my ego aside to ask for help. In February I got my youngest two kids back from their Dad unexpectedly. I wanted to wait until I was more financially sound but it was an emergency circumstance. I am the kids sole provider, I receive no help from their Dad. When they came back they needed clothes,shoes etc. They were neglected at their dad's house, medically, physically, and emotionally. Since having my kids home I have had to miss work due to the Flu and I have had a lot of appointments for my kids to get their mental and physical health back on track. Missing work has led to a huge financial burden. I am unable to pay April rent and I need help paying rent for May so that I can get my financial situation back in order. At the end of the month I will be driving to Blank Children's hospital for my son to find out what the mass is in his leg. And I also have to take my daughter to Des Moines to have dental surgery due to the neglect her teeth are in very bad shape. My daughter is also struggling with mental health and behavioral issues and she has started therapy. I don't like asking for help but I have tried every resource possible and have had no luck. I know everyone has their struggles and I'm very grateful that I get to be a Mom again but it is very hard doing it all alone.
