Support Jocelin's Journey Through Tough Times

Hi, my name is Jocelin and I am a single mother of a 9-year-old daughter and a 6-month-old puppy as a support system for my daughter. Last year, my world turned upside down. I lost my mother to cancer, and one of my best friends, a month later, took her life. I got myself into a church, and it's been a place of understanding and healing. I also now serve as a leader in kids' ministry. I work a full-time job as an RBT, working with adults with disabilities, and struggling to deal with my own daughter who has ADHD. I'm here today because I'm struggling to get through each day emotionally, but financially, I'm trying everything to just stay afloat. I had to leave my last apartment and use the rest of the money I saved in January to move somewhere where my daughter wasn't being threatened and harassed by adult mentally ill neighbors. A liat of bills include: Rent, car payment, car insurance, gas to take my clients around, food, utilities. My daughter needs a new bed so she sleeps in my bed at times while I sleep on the recliner or even make a bed full of blankets. I'm reaching out to the community for help. I'm praying for a breakthrough!! I don't have my mother, and my auntie is going through her health issues, and I'm terrified if I lose her, then I'll be devastated. I have emotional support but not always the 'I can help with picking your child up' or 'she can come over here.' My child's biological father is not in her life, so I am really doing this on my own. I would use this money to pay for a bed for my daughter, put extra money down on my utilities, and save a portion for rainy day funds/emergencies, as well as buy necessities that can last over months so I don't have to worry. If you are able to help in any way and pray for us, I'm trying to do all the right things the right way, and it's so hard to feel good about the work you're doing when the money doesn't match.
