Joan has been fighting for so long and has touched so many hearts along her journey. Joan was born with a heart condition and has been through many surgeries and hospital stays. After her last hospital stay she was told that there was no more they could do.

Some things about Joan are she recently just became a grandmother which has brought her a lot of joy. She loves the beach and warmth of the sun on her face. Her sense of humor is unparalleled, when with her you always find yourself laughing. And as the Christmas season is approaching you’ll find Joan laughing and enjoying her favorite Christmas movie “Elf”. These are just some of our favorite things about this remarkable woman.
