Support Joan's Battle Against Neuroblastoma

Donation protected
My name is Maxine and Joan is my grandson's cousin. He is technically the older cousin, by just 3 months! He just celebrated his 3rd birthday on March 22, only to be diagnosed two weeks later with high-risk neuroblastoma. Joan has to undergo strong chemotherapy due to the severity for about 15-18 months, surgery to remove the tumor from his belly that has rapidly expanded to his bones, and additional therapy.

Joan is a joyful and vibrant boy who loves to jump and run around. We would often find him laughing as he jumped from furniture and stairs, giving us all a scare. Now, this condition has left him unable to walk, among other things. His single mother is the one caring for him and needs the support of her family and community.

This will be a long and demanding journey for Joan and his mother. Understanding the challenges and time commitment associated with Joan's treatment and care, our family is asking our family and friends to consider donating in any way you can. More than anything, we want Joan and his mother to know that they are not alone in this. Thank you for your prayers, kindness, and compassion.
