My name is Debbie Dougherty and today we lost a dear and beloved family member, Larry Mensch, my brother/in-law.

He has been suffering from colon cancer and recently lost his leg due to complications from diabetes. He never once complained and was always happy to tell you a bad joke no matter how much pain he was in.

He has left this earth giving everyone he knew a smile and a helping hand whenever possible. So today I am asking all those he touched to contribute if you can to help my sister and nephew as they navigate how to survive without a loving husband and father.

As many know, William is disabled which adds to this sad situation and Joanne will have a bumpy road ahead.
