Hi, my name is Joanna Valdes, and swimming has been my passion for as long as I can remember. It’s more than just a sport for me—it’s where I’ve learned discipline, built confidence, and found my greatest joy. I recently have the opportunity to join a new swim team that will not only challenge me to grow as an athlete but also open doors to competitions, advanced training, and a supportive community of teammates and coaches who can help me reach my full potential. Unfortunately, due to my mom passing a couple years past and my family having trouble with money, I don’t have the funds to cover the costs of joining. I’m asking for your help so I can take this next step in my swimming journey and keep chasing the dreams I’ve worked so hard for. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to diving in with this amazing team.
