My name is Joanna Sellers. My husband and father of our 2 daughters passed away on September 8, 2025. The grief is a profound and complex journey. This has also left us financially unstable until my benefits begin (which could take several months).

Last week, the transmission went out on the only car we have. My oldest daughter is primarily carrying the weight of our bills, including housing. Now she has no transportation to work. Taking a Lyft/Uber to and from work is costing an average of $40 per day.

I am trying to raise money to help her with that cost, or if we can get enough raised, get her a cheap older used car that will eliminate the danger of a young lady ride sharing in the city of Greensboro.
