Support Joni's journey to revovery

Our daughter Joanie Jennings was seriously injured on December 20, 2024. She was going to her car when she slipped on ice and fell between some cars, was knock unconscious and wasn't discovered for a while. When she was found 911 was called and they rushed her to Mercy Hospital. They did a head scan and discovered several brain bleeds, Joanie was then transferred to University of Iowa Hospital and under went emergency surgery to reduce the swelling and drain the bleeds. She was in the ICU for a while and is now in the level 2 ICU. Joanie is walking and talking some and showing her feisty side, but still needs to have some progress to get her transferred back to Cedar Rapids for rehab. Joanie has a very long road to recovery.

During this time Kerry Adams, her longtime companion, has been by her side as much as possible, plus still working. He has been using vacation time but that will soon run out. We are doing this fundraiser to help them with their expenses they have and will have. Joanie's medical insurance, still needs to be paid to keep it current, her medical expenses that are accumulating now, unpaid work days that Joanie will have and Kerry could have and any current bills Joanie has. Joanie and Kerry need to concentrate on her recovery and not money at this time. If you are able to contribute and/or share this with others it would be greatly appreciated.
