In April 2024, our friend Joanie was shocked to receive a cancer diagnosis. She was diagnosed with stage 4b metastatic cancer affecting her colon, and it had spread to her liver. She has been receiving chemo treatments since May 2024. She continues to work, as she is able to between treatments. She has had positive treatments, and some difficult treatments, and surgeries.

All of us who know Joanie know she is a fighter. She can do this! She just needs some more help.

We, her friends, are asking for you to help our Joanie. You may know her in passing; she used to bar-tend at several places in town, and until recently, she worked at a local medical group. She loves playing pool at the Eagles and loves getting on the back of the bike to ride around.
