We are reaching out today with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits on behalf of our beloved Joan and Jim. As many of you know, they are facing one of the most heartbreaking and life-altering chapters of their lives, and we need your help to lift them up during this time.

Joan, who was in excellent health and full of life, was tragically involved in a golf cart accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury. She was life-flighted to the hospital in critical condition, and her injuries were so severe that doctors urged us to prepare for the worst. Those first two weeks were a blur of fear, tears, uncertainty, and prayers as we came so close to losing her.

But Joan’s fighting spirit has carried her through unimaginable trials, supported every step of the way by her family. Her strength, combined with the unwavering love of her husband Jim, has been nothing short of extraordinary. Jim has been by her side through every terrifying moment, holding her hand, whispering words of encouragement, and staying strong even when his own heart was breaking.

This journey is far from over, but there is hope as she has defied the odds and shown remarkable progress in her recovery. Her road to recovery will require extensive medical care, physical therapy, and long-term support. The financial burden is overwhelming, but our family is determined to give her every possible chance at healing and returning to the life she so richly deserves.
