Support Joan in this leg of the marathon

Hello dear friends of Joan!

As Joan has shared in her posts, this Metastatic Breast Cancer stuff is a not a sprint, but a marathon. As Joan moves into a slightly different leg of the marathon, with new medication and a laparoscopic surgery to make sure her body doesn't produce hormones that are contrary to the goals, many folks are wondering - how can I help?

Local Brooklyn pals have already offered meals and meal delivery for the week after the surgery and this is a big help! For those of us who live further away, or snoozed and missed the sign-up slots (they went fast!), or just know meal prep and delivery are not our strongest suits, we are re-opening this GoFundMe page. Joan has shared that supportive therapies - Reiki, acupuncture, bodywork, emotional support - continue to be key going forward on this marathon. Money from this leg of the GoFundMe will go toward self-care for Joan and the whole awesome family.
