As many of you know, my mama, Joan DiAngelo, suffered a massive stroke on December 2, 2025. She is still in the hospital, and our family is doing everything we can to support her. Joan was incredibly active and was even working the same morning she had her stroke. For over 50 years, she dedicated herself to hairdressing and was always involved in her community, never missing a chance to help someone in need.
With her sudden illness, Joan is unable to return to work, and my sister and I are reaching out for help. We want to make sure she can keep up with her bills and receive the best care possible as she begins her long road to recovery. Right now, she is unable to move the left side of her body and will need rehabilitation after her hospital stay, with the hope of eventually coming home. There are many things we need to take care of to make sure she is comfortable and safe during this transition.
Anyone who knows my mama knows how much she has always done for others. Now, we are asking for your support to help her get the care she deserves. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you in advance for your kindness and love—Joan loves you all so much.
