Sophie needed emergency surgery! Hi, we’re the friends and family of rescue dog Sophie and her single pup-mom Jo. We’re hoping that your generosity can ease the burden they suddenly find themselves under! Sophie’s mom Jo spent years waiting to become a dog parent and finally met her match with Sophie. But Sophie unfortunately sometimes gets herself into a little bit of trouble, and while her mom is great at managing all of her shenanigans, no one expected Sophie to suddenly become so ill that she ended up in the hospital after ingesting… a doormat.

A new choice for sure and one that caused a very scary week for both Sophie and her mom Jo. We all know how fast things can change medically with our animals, how scary it is to have to make those life and death decisions, knowing all the while that these unplanned emergencies come with a price tag that most of us can’t afford.
