Hello all!

 

Founded in the year 2000, Low Key became the second mixed voices a cappella group at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The group was founded by individuals who had both a deep friendship with one another and a love for singing. Today, we still hold true to our foundations of being a "Friends First" group and sharing a collective passion for music and entertaining others.

 

Our group has released five studio albums and has been featured on the Best of College A Cappella 2006 and 2011 for our renditions of "Let Go" and "Hit 'Em Up Style," as well as Voices Only 2011 and Best of College A Cappella 2012 for our cover of "Sweet Disposition."

 

Low Key is excited to release our sixth studio album, available on Spotify, Apple Music, and physical CD, anticipated in Spring 2023! Along the way, the group will also be releasing a few singles to the public. We are an entirely self-funded and student-led organization, so any donation possible helps toward the production and release of our forthcoming album and future projects such as music videos, tours, etc.

 

We cannot wait to share the music and projects we have coming your way! These projects mean a lot to our group and feature songs near and dear to our hearts, from artists such as Adele, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean, Winona Oak, and more.
