JJ and his wife Lynne have always been the kind of people who put others first. Whether volunteering for local organizations or supporting their children and grandchildren, they have poured their time and love into making Penn Yan a better place for everyone. Now, they are facing a challenge that no family should have to face alone.

Recently, JJ suffered an unexpected brain bleed after complications from pancreatic cancer. He is currently in the ICU in a medically induced coma, fighting with everything he has to come back to his family. While JJ battles for his health, Lynne is doing everything she can to be by his side and support their daughters. Unfortunately, Lynne has exhausted her leave time at work and is now facing a loss of pay, as well as having to pay for insurance out of pocket. The daily travel costs to and from Rochester, combined with mounting medical bills, are creating significant financial strain for the family.
