Hello and Namaste dear friends and family,
This February, our son JJ Bhai turns 3
Instead of celebrating his birthday only with gifts and toys, we wanted to mark this milestone with something more meaningful, by giving back to society.
A primary government school in our village, the same school currently attended by JJ Bhai and Baby Aura is filled with bright, curious children. Sadly, it lacks even the most basic facilities many of us take for granted: a proper playground and simple sports equipment.
For these children, school is not just a place to study; it is where they dream, play, and grow. Yet, they do not have a safe and clean space to run freely, play joyfully, and simply be children.
We often come together generously to support fundraising efforts for friends and family abroad. That same spirit of kindness inspires us to ask, why not extend the same love to the children of our own motherland, Nepal?
These children are the future of our nation, and investing in them today means building a stronger, kinder society for tomorrow.
Government funding alone is not enough to build these basic facilities. But together, as friends, family, and a caring community, we truly can make a difference.
So this year, instead of birthday gifts for JJ Bhai, we are humbly raising funds to help build playground infrastructure and provide sports equipment for this school, something that will benefit generations of students for many years to come. Our goal is to help this school become a Namuna (exemplary) government school in the area.
No contribution is too small or too big.
Even the cost of one day’s lunch, something we may not think twice about, can create a lasting impact on a child’s everyday school life. A safe place to play builds confidence, teamwork, happiness, and good health, lessons that stay for life.
By supporting this cause, we are not only helping these students today; we are leading by example. Children may not always listen to what we say, but they learn deeply from what we do. The kindness they receive now will inspire them to give back when they grow up.
This is a pure dharma and punya ko kaam, creating real change, real joy, and real opportunity in innocent lives.
As a family, with the support of our generous and kind friends and family, we are committed to continuing this kind of fundraising on every special occasion in the future, so we can keep making small but meaningful impacts in our society. We find deep inner peace in giving back to the very soil that nourished and nurtured us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all the kind souls who support this cause.
We would be honored to personally take you on a school visit the next time you are here, so you can see the smiles you helped create.
God bless you always.
With gratitude and hope,
Aura Anand Abhi Thapa Family
