My 11-year-old son, JJ, was hit by a car while walking to school. In an instant, our family’s world changed. JJ suffered a skull fracture and a collarbone fracture, and since that day we have been focused on getting him the care, rest, and support he needs to heal. Seeing a child go through something so painful and frightening has been heartbreaking for all of us, and we are taking things one day at a time as we stay by his side.

As JJ recovers, our family is facing the heavy burden of medical expenses, ongoing medical care, legal services, time away from work, and the daily costs that do not stop during a crisis. We are creating this fundraiser to help ease some of that pressure so we can focus on JJ’s healing and recovery while also fighting to get the justice he deserves. This could have been your child.
