Hello, I’m Usaid Shuaib, and I have the privilege of leading the Marketplaces Ads team at Pattern. For over a year, Jennette (Jinky), a vital member of our offshore team in the Philippines, has been an incredible contributor to our successes.

Recently, Jinky’s husband was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. To stop the cancer from spreading, he underwent a leg amputation and is now preparing for chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Despite these overwhelming challenges, Jinky continues to manage her work with unwavering dedication.

As a team, we’ve supported Jinky with flexible working hours and encouraged her to prioritize her family during this difficult time. However, the financial burden of medical expenses remains significant, and we want to do more to support her.

To that end, I’ve created this GoFundMe with a goal of $5,000 to help ease the financial strain and assist her husband on his journey to becoming cancer-free. Since GoFundMe does not operate in the Philippines, I will personally withdraw the funds and send them directly to Jinky to ensure she receives the support promptly.
