Jim has always been a man of service—whether it was during his time in the Air Force, where he served as part of the presidential communication team, or when he came home to help his family during a difficult time. Jim had a distinguished career, achieving the highest top-secret clearance and working on fascinating projects, much of which remains unknown to the public. He would have continued to serve for 20 years, but life had other plans. When his father fell ill and his mother needed help with their restaurant, Jim made the selfless decision to return home and take care of his family.

In 2016, Jim bought something that brought a bit of joy back into his life—a unique and iconic Ecto-1 car. It was parked near Daytona, and when he saw it, he thought it was the coolest thing ever. A fan of classic cars and iconic movies, Jim couldn’t resist the chance to own something you just don’t see every day. Since then, he’s lovingly taken care of and updated the Ecto-1, keeping it in top condition so it can continue to turn heads and bring smiles.

But for Jim, the Ecto-1 is more than just a car—it’s his way of giving back. Often, he dresses up in his Ghostbusters uniform, volunteering at charity events and bringing joy to kids and families. For Jim, the car symbolizes joy, community, and a chance to spread a little bit of happiness wherever he goes.

Now, Jim is facing overwhelming medical bills, and to cover the costs, he’s had to make a heartbreaking decision: selling his beloved Ecto-1. For someone who’s given so much, from his time in service to his volunteer efforts, it feels like a tough blow.
