The diagnosis turned my world upside down, and since then, I’ve been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy. The process has been tough—my hair has thinned, and I’m still struggling to keep up with daily life. On top of the medical challenges, I’m facing financial stress. My living expenses are more than what I receive from Social Security, and I’m falling behind on bills. I need a stent placed in two areas, and I’ve been driving myself to and from treatments, but my car needs new tires. Insurance is also saying I owe more than I can manage. It’s a lot to handle all at once, and I’m doing my best to stay positive and keep going.

I’ve never tried asking for this kind of help before, but cancer has changed everything. I don’t have burial funds, and my home situation is slim.
