My name is Jim, and since October 2025, I have been fighting cancer in my neck and throat. This diagnosis has completely changed my life, and I am now preparing to begin treatment at the City of Hope. The journey ahead is daunting, but I am determined to do everything I can to extend my life and keep fighting.

As a self-employed person, this diagnosis means I won't be able to work while undergoing treatment. I will need to travel to Los Angeles during the week for my care, and I hope to return home on weekends to be with my loved ones and find some comfort. The costs of travel, medical care, and time away from work are overwhelming, and I am reaching out for help during this difficult time.

It is not easy for me to ask for support, and I feel embarrassed to do so. But I know I can't face this alone. Any help you can offer—no matter how small—will make a real difference in my fight against cancer. I owe all the glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have lived the most wonderful and enjoyable life, and I have made it this far with the power of God. With His grace and yours, I hope to live a long and prosperous life.
