I am starting this fundraiser for my brother-in-law Jim, who was recently diagnosed with glioblastoma, terminal brain cancer. Although he is a retired military veteran, expenses are already mounting as he and his family deal with the challenges that every day brings. He requires medical supplies that are not covered by insurance, costing hundreds of dollars each month. Many of the items Jim requires are not covered by insurance.

In order to get Jim the extra help he needs daily, he is going to move from Oregon to Washington to be close to his daughter Tracy and her family. He will also be closer to the medical care and treatment that he needs. Moving hundreds of miles away will add to their expenditures as they get settled into a new place. They will also need to make accommodations to the house to allow for wheelchair access.

Jim is a devoted family man who loves his wife and daughter, grandchildren, and siblings, and his thoughts are always about his family and taking care of them. Please consider donating to help us ease their burden, so that they can focus on Jim’s care.
