Uncle Jimmy has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma, a form of lung cancer. The news has been overwhelming for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support him through this challenging journey. Jimmy will need surgery on May 22nd to remove two tumors found in his right lung, and he will begin chemotherapy immediately after. His doctors are working quickly to address this aggressive cancer, and he faces a multitude of appointments between Yakima and Seattle. Unfortunately, not all aspects of his treatment and specialized medical equipment are covered by insurance, and he will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
We are raising funds to help Jimmy with the costs of travel, medical equipment, and daily living expenses while he focuses on his recovery. Every donation will go directly toward his treatment and basic necessities, giving him the best chance to heal and return to work when he is able. Your support means so much to our family, and we are deeply grateful for any help you can provide.
I thank each and everyone who has taken the time to read this post. Even if you can’t donate money, prayers are greatly appreciated during this difficult and scary time. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference for Jimmy as he fights this battle.
