My name is Jimmy Bell. This is my wife of 10 years, Charley Mae. We've been together for 25 years.

On September 11, 2023, I was at work as usual and went to carry out the trash and fell unconscious. I was found by one of my coworkers. I don't have any memory of that. I was awakened by the doctor at Advent Health hospital asking me if I remember what happened to me. I was confused about where I was. I looked over to the side of me and there was my wife so I asked her if she knew what happened. She also didn't know. After being in the hospital for testing, they diagnosed me with chronic kidney failure. I spent five weeks in the hospital. I started dialysis at the hospital and had many blood transfusions and surgery. I was released and started dialysis three days a week. One year later I was asked if I would be interested a kidney transplant. Ever since then I have been praying and preparing myself for the transplant. I finally got all the way to being a potential recipient for the surgery. After receiving the transplant there are many expenses including after-care and medication, so before receiving surgery I need to show that I can afford these costs. I need to show proof of $3,000 in my savings account to show that I will be able to afford the medication.

That's where I need to ask for blessings from friends, family, neighbors and any kind people who would like to help. Any amount is appreciated.
