My name is Jimmy Thomas Jr., and I am reaching out to you during one of the most challenging times my family and I have ever faced. After Thanksgiving, I will be undergoing a series of major surgeries, including colon cancer removal, a heart transplant, and a kidney transplant. As a family of eight, we have always done our best to provide for each other, but right now, we are relying solely on my social security benefits, which simply aren’t enough to cover all our needs.

These upcoming surgeries mean that I will need extended time to recover, and my family will need extra support to manage daily life.
