Jimmy has always been the kind of person who puts others first. For the past 34 years in recovery, he has faithfully helped friends, family, and neighbors whenever they needed a hand. Now, after years of giving, he finds himself in need of support as he faces a long road to recovery. In July 2025, Jimmy’s life changed dramatically when he became seriously ill. After months of doctor visits and uncertainty, he was diagnosed with very invasive bladder cancer. The medical team initially thought he would need to have his bladder removed, but his oncology team is now trying a new treatment regimen that includes chemotherapy, medication, and radiation in hopes of saving his bladder.

This journey has been incredibly tough on Jimmy. He hasn’t been able to work full time since becoming ill, and his treatment requires him to travel up three hours each way to Philadelphia for appointments and treatment. To make matters even more challenging, the engine in Jimmy’s vehicle broke down on the way to a doctor visit, leaving him with a significant repair bill. The financial strain of medical bills, travel expenses, and daily living costs has become overwhelming.

All funds raised will go directly toward helping Jimmy with travel expenses, repairing his truck so he can continue getting to treatment, and covering essential living costs while he focuses on healing.
