Support Jimmy Ryan's Medical Recovery

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are writing to you today with a heavy heart, but also with a hopeful spirit. My dear brother in-law, Jimmy Ryan, is facing a significant financial burden due to unexpected medical expenses.

Jimmy has been bravely battling cancer for years and has had a recent major setback due to a severe blood infection. He has been in the hospital for 2 weeks and has been on IV antibiotics. He will need an additional 6 weeks of IV antibiotics which is not covered by insurance. His amazing wife, my sister Jeannie Ryan is unable to work because she is his full time caretaker. Jimmy cannot take care of himself and must have her there full time. While he is making progress, the mounting medical bills are creating an immense financial strain on him and his family.

Jimmy is eager to return home soon, but he requires several essential items to ensure a safe and comfortable recovery. These include:

A walker: To aid in his mobility and prevent falls.

IV antibiotics: Unfortunately, the cost of these life-saving medications is exorbitant, with an out-of-pocket expense of $4,200.

A transport chair: To facilitate safe and easy transportation to necessary appointments.

These expenses, along with ongoing medical treatments and rehabilitation, are putting a significant financial burden on Jimmy and his family.
