Support Jimmy O Through Medical Challenges

With a heavy heart, as all our friends and family know Jimmy O has had a very difficult, tough medical journey over the last couple years. He has always had the most uplifting, positive attitude, and NEVER does he say why me.
With medical bills and our household bills we are struggling. Jim has not been able to physically work for almost 2 years. We need your support. For those who have followed his journey, he has had multiple surgeries related to digestive issues. In 2022, he was having some odd symptoms, throwing up at night, choking while eating, and diagnosed with high blood pressure, asthma, COPD, and congestive heart failure. It was then found out in 2023 that his diaphragm had ruptured from his previous cancer surgery, when he was 40, and all his organs were up behind his heart, which was causing all the symptoms that he was experiencing. In 2023, he had a large diaphragm hernia repair. After that surgery, his diaphragm herniated and ruptured putting him into respiratory distress. He was on a ventilator for a couple weeks. He was on a feeding tube. He had a spit fistula where he could not eat anything for seven months, which everyone knows how much Jim loves to eat. He hated that feeding tube. In May of 2024, they were able to reverse the stoma and make a stomach and esophagus out of his colon, so he had a colon resection. He kept the feeding tube for another two months until he could start eating again, which he did. His stomach herniated at that time, and he was left with an open area on his abdomen for a year and a half. While waiting to recover, he had to have a Total Shoulder, possibly from being moved around in the bed, and while he was in the hospital he also had surgery. Now, fast forward to March of this year he had to have his abdomen closed. They were going to go in and reconstruct his abdominal wall, which he was sent to the Cleveland clinic for because Beaumont didn't feel comfortable doing the surgeries. He went to the Cleveland clinic for this large hernia repair and when they got in, they found that he was full of pus. They had to remove a lot of old mesh, and they cleaned out all the pus areas and re-closed him back up, unable to complete the hernia repair due to the infection.
Since that surgery, he has been having some mild symptoms of possible signs of a stroke. On Thursday, he had a stroke. He is now in ICU, with a large clot in his carotid artery that is unstable. They are trying to decide what to do with the blood clot. They are looking into going in and removing the clot, but first they want to try to shrink it with heparin, so at this time he's in ICU. He is stable. He has minimal deficits from the stroke. Some facial drooping, slurred speech, and some weakness on his left side. He is undergoing heparin treatment and being monitored closely in the ICU. He needs all his prayer warriors on deck.
Unfortunately, we are at the point where we need help to cover medical expenses and our bills. I have been trying to be supportive of Jim's medical condition which means I have not been working as much as I should. Your contribution will go directly towards medical bills and living expenses. Any amount counts, and your kindness will bring us one step closer to helping Jimmy O recover. Thank you for your love and support. We are so sorry to have to ask for help.
