Jimmy Dyess, known to many as Pork Chop 225, is not just my dear friend—he’s someone who has always brought laughter and kindness to those around him. Over the years, Jimmy has faced unimaginable challenges. He developed degenerative spinal issues that required spinal cord fusion surgery (C2-C7) in his neck, which unfortunately resulted in partial paralysis and made daily life increasingly difficult. As if that wasn’t enough, he lost his left leg, a life-changing event that has affected every part of his daily routine. Most recently, Jimmy has been diagnosed with cancer in his kidney. The news has been overwhelming for Jimmy and everyone who cares about him. Despite these hardships, Jimmy continues to show incredible strength and resilience. But the reality is that the costs of medical care, daily living, and travel for treatment are adding up quickly. Jimmy is doing everything he can to fight through this, but he can’t do it alone.
