Support Jimmie's Stroke Recovery Journey

Dear friends, family, and community,

On July 12th, my dad, Jimmie, suffered a massive ischemic stroke while working out of town. He was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he underwent an emergency thrombectomy and later required a decompressive hemicraniectomy to relieve dangerous brain swelling.

Jimmie spent several days in the ICU and is now in a rehabilitation facility beginning what will be a long and challenging recovery. He currently requires 24-hour care and is working hard to regain mobility, speech, and strength.

Due to his condition, Mama Lori now has to be with him full time. We are raising funds to help cover medical expenses, travel costs, lost income, and the extensive care and rehabilitation Jimmie will need moving forward.
