Support Jim Steele’s Medical Expenses for Heart Surgery

Jim Steele had a massive heart attack on June 25 of which came to Jim & Jan as a complete shock. Within hours they had acquired unbelievable medical expenses, beginning with the cost of Jim needing LifeFlight from Prineville ER to Bend Hospital and that fee alone is over $50k, then we learned quickly he had to have triple by-pass open heart surgery and can’t fathom what that surgery cost along with 9 days in the hospital from June 25-July 3 when he was discharged. His team of Surgeons and Dr’s all saying ‘he’s a Man of Steel and he’s knocked this out of the park for sure!.

we have OHP insurance and Medicare but they never pay for everything and we could certainly use some help from our dancing community to help us get through this unforeseen medical expenses! Our Square & Round Dance community has been Jim’s family for approx 65+ years and Jan’s for about 54 years, we would be so very grateful for your help when we need it now. Jim has a road of recovery ahead of him but his mindset is rock solid to be back calling in just a few months! He’s still moving forward to do his best to still call with Jet Roberts at our Country Fever Dance Weekend in Roseburg in October 4-6, 2024
