Support Jim Mehaffy's Medical Journey

Hi Everyone, my name is Justa and I’m a close friend of Jim Mehaffy. Jim has been on a continuous long road fighting kidney disease since October of 2018 and was recently hospitalized on May 13, 2025, where he had to undergo open-heart surgery. Jim is truly amazing and fights each day; he currently has dialysis 3 days a week. Jim’s open-heart surgery went well, but the struggles of continuous dialysis and the recovery process of open-heart surgery have had an overwhelming burden on him financially. Jim is a devoted dad to his son Caleb and pushes through each day, doing his best to manage day-to-day activities. Jim and Caleb love to go fishing on the lakes of Oneida, Canadarago, and Moraine. They also enjoy racing and have a love of building hobby cars with Raced, CRC Raceway, and Underground RC. Jim tries his hardest to create long-lasting and memorable memories with Caleb.
