Please help my mom bury her husband (Jim Gooch)

To who it may concern today my moms husband/ our stepfather Jim (James) Gooch passed away suddenly! If you knew Jim we definitely were not prepared for this to happen at this time. Jim was with my mom for 23 years and just recently on 1/11/25 celebrated their five year wedding anniversary. If you knew Jim and my mom they had a special kind of relationship and even though there were plenty ups and downs in that time as usual families have my mom and us kids and even the grandkids knew he would do anything for us no matter how annoying or how much he didn’t want to sometime we knew if we called he would come! He was like that with everyone his family, friends, and even strangers sometimes. He was the best Poppop to all his grandkids Joey, Brian, Mila, and little Jacob, and hands down would have been just as good to the new baby he unfortunately did not get to meet. He will be missed by so many. Due to this being so sudden my mom is in need of help to give him the proper burial that he deserves. We are asking for a little help to put Jim to rest and help alleviate some of these burdens off of my mom in her time of need while she’s mourning her husband if possible due to as most know she is disabled and the majority of the house income was from Jim so if anybody would like to help that would be great and I know we really appreciate it and I know he would’ve really appreciated it also considering he has helped so many without blinking or asking any questions (most of the time). Jim was the loudest guy in the room and we’re trying to send him out the same way as he would want. We will update with funeral information as soon as we have it. And anybody that would like to come and pay the respects are more than welcome. We appreciate everyone’s help and understanding and kind words while my mom tries to process this change cause it is going to be a big change.
