Support Jim Forshee's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Monica and I am asking for help for my friend Jim Forshee. All donations will go straight to him and his family. My goal is 20k even though I hope to exceed that. Someone told me to start at 10k. I doubled that because I know that his first bill for one scan was already 9k, so I had to aim higher.
Jim Forshee and I have worked together as math teachers for over 15 years at Spring High School. He has become one of my closes friends in life. Anytime I had a need, no matter how big or small, he was right there. Not only do I have stories of his kindness and generosity, so does probably anyone who’s ever met him.
At the beginning of the school year, he was feeling sick and in pain and the doctors couldn’t figure it out. After months of guessing, they finally did a scan and found out he has stage 4 stomach cancer. Those words were so hurtful to hear. Those words were scary. All I could think about was his twins and wife. His family I know oh so well because he talks about them always. If it hurt me so much, if it hurt my colleagues so much, I can’t imagine the pain his family is going through.
Please If you can, donate to Jim Forshee, for his medical bills, monthly bills, and maybe possibly something for his family for the Holidays. Because of his pain, loss of strength, chemo treatments, he is out of days for work and is no longer getting paid. What money he had saved has now been used for care. We can help relieve at least a little stress and worry from his family. He is fighting for his life right now so he can be here for his family, and they are being strong, but it’s a fight for them too.
Jim Forshee has done so much for others. Especially in his role as an educator. He works at a tough school, but comes everyday smiling and putting smiles on everyone’s face. If you can not donate, please share the link. Thank you.
