Hi everyone,

I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Jim Dang, my childhood friend of over 20 years.

On Christmas evening, Jim was involved in a major, life-changing car accident, leaving him with multiple broken bones and serious internal injuries. He has been hospitalized for the past three weeks and, heartbreakingly, spent the holidays in the hospital as he continues to fight his way through recovery.

Jim graduated from pharmacy school last year and recently began a promising career as a nuclear pharmacist, developing treatments for patients with long-term illnesses. Because of this horrible accident, Jim’s life is on pause as he begins the long road to regaining his health. The financial burden is significant, as he now faces ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and time away from work. At this stage, we want Jim to focus on healing—physically, mentally, and emotionally—without the added stress of overwhelming expenses.

Anyone who knows Jim understands just how kind, friendly, and genuine he is to those around him. Jim is someone you can count on in times of need and who will go out of his way to help others without hesitation. He has built an incredible life surrounded by so many loving friends and family because of the way he treats people. Jim has been, and will continue to be, there for those around him, but for now, it is our time to return the favor.
