Support Jim & Cheri in Their Time of Need

Hello, our names are Jim and Cheri. We are both over 60 years old.
We are creating a Go Fund Me because we are going through a huge bout of surprisingly bad luck.
Cheri has progressive, stage 4, terminal breast cancer, and due to a fall, is dealing with severe pain from a right broken pelvis and acute compression fracture in her lower back. She also had to have recent eye surgeries for tumors. She was just informed by her oncologist that she'll be needing IV treatment and chemotherapy. At this time, she is completely unable to work, and is struggling to pay Medicare premiums. She is also struggling because some of her medications are not being covered through her insurance which is adding to the stress.
I myself am considered a disabled individual, due to earlier back injuries and nerve damage (of which I will have for will have for the rest of my life), and am limited in what I can do for work.
We recently relocated to be closer to Jim's work in order to not have to make an 80-mile daily commute and pay toll fees. This move to our new apartment depleted all of our funds.
Things were starting to look up, but unfortunately, everything went wrong.
Jim's job recently eliminated his position with no notice, after working at his place of employment for 4 years, working 6 days per week, including all holidays and all weekends. This is devastating, as now we have no income whatsoever on top of all these expenses.
Since being let go, Jim continues to spend several hours per day searching for a new job, with no leads signs of hope for employment at this time. We also have applied for various local, State and Federal assistance with no luck or extremely long waiting times.
Our car was hit while parked at Jim's previous employer parking lot, so our passenger side door does not work, which creates difficulty for Cheri getting in and out of the vehicle with her mobility device. The vehicle that hit us, left the scene, leaving us to pay for the damages: $3,600.
It has been one misfortune after another. Due to all of these events we are desperate for funds to survive as all of our expenses are piling up with no income. We are most concerned for our July rent as we just moved in to this new apartment and don't want to face an eviction notice (and to be put in a bad position with our new landlord). However, all of our other expenses will be piling up as well.
This is extremely difficult for me to come to this level of need as we have always been self sufficient with a strong work ethic our whole life without taking charities but we are now in an unwanted, surprising desperate situation. This is not an option I normally would consider.
We are hoping to get 3 month's worth of rent, car payments and insurance, health insurance premiums and expenses and other basic need expenses until we can get a consistent income and Jim's full time employment again.
Thank you for reading our story and any amount of assistance would be a blessing.
