Support Jim Bowers' Recovery Journey

First and foremost, I want to thank anybody that took the time to read this. That old cliche saying, your life can change at the snap of a finger, is absolutely true. On October 19th last year, I ended up breaking both my tibias. It's a bilateral tibia fracture. I was bedridden for 5 months and over a year later I am still recovering. I am pain on a daily basis It just depends how bad the pain is going to be at a minimum it feels like when I walk I'm having to put on a shoe three sizes too small and walk all day. Unfortunately I've been unemployed since the accident almost a year and 3 months ago. I've been fighting North Carolina for the little itsy bitsy amount of unemployment And I finally had to give up after multiple appeals. I filed for federal disability , and it takes 12-18 months before they give you a decision on if they approve your disability claim. Unfortunately, I have run my savings dry and I'm in really bad shape. If anybody's able to help out, I greatly appreciate it, but if not, I understand as well as these are tough times.
