I am the treasurer for The Jim Bell Wireless Association, an amateur radio club dedicated to serving our community through emergency communications. Our mission is to provide communication services to the general public and to serve as a backup resource for governmental agencies when dependable communication matters most. This work is important to all of us in the club, but rising costs for equipment, maintenance, and public education opportunities have made it increasingly difficult for us to continue fulfilling that mission at the level our community deserves.

We are raising funds to help keep our club strong and ready to serve. Donations will primarily be used to provide education assistance for training new amateur radio operators and to support equipment maintenance so our systems remain reliable when they are needed. By helping us train new operators, you are investing in the future of emergency communications in our area. By helping us maintain our equipment, you are helping ensure we can continue to respond and provide support when communication is critical.
